The Lake Albert Oil Development project area is near the western part of Lake Albert.
There are three partners for the Lake Albert Oil Development project: CNOOC Uganda Limited, Total E&P Uganda B.V., and Tullow Uganda Limited. The project started in 2022 and is still ongoing. ATRO E&M formally known as MacDonald’s scope of work includes designing sheet pile floodwall or a combination of sheet pile and riprap wall to protect KFDA oil facilities, designing the jetty structure and redesigning drainage channel south of well-pad 2, pre-construction technical support during procurement for civil works, and construction monitoring services during the implementation of civil works.
